When a member is deactivated, they are removed from active status and cannot receive future sampling invitations. You can deactivate pending, active, and invited members, or they can deactivate themselves. When a member is deactivated, their profile and campaign data is not deleted. If a member wants their data to be completely erased, you’ll need to update their profile to remove all personal information.

Note: You cannot delete a member.

The Member deactivation email template is used to send a message to the member after deactivation. Ensure that you configure the email template before deactivating a member.

Deactivating a member

  1. Click Members at the top of the portal and then click View Members.
  2. Select member(s) by clicking the check boxes on the right side of each member’s row.
  3. Click Deactivate Member.
  4. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deactivation.

Reactivating a member

You can reactivate any deactivated member. Note that no email message is sent to the member when they are reactivated.

  1. Click Members at the top of the portal and then click View Members.
  2. Select deactivated member(s) by clicking the check boxes on the right side of each member’s row.
  3. Click Reactivate Member.
  4. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the reactivation.
