The Inbound Syndication dashboard helps you measure the effect that syndicated content has on your online conversion rates. Use this dashboard to view and analyze:
- Volume of content being syndicated to you
- Sources of syndicated content
- Impact of syndication on product coverage
- Gaps in product coverage
Access the dashboard
- Log in to the Bazaarvoice Workbench.
- Select Reports » Dashboards.
- Select Inbound Syndication under Ratings & Reviews in the Dashboards navigation menu.
You can select data used in the reports by using the filters at the top of each view. Refer to Filter data for more information about available filters.
Dashboards are updated each day at approximately 04:00 GMT. They reflect the content syndicated to your site as of the previous day. Data is cumulative and represents all approved reviews you have collected natively or received through syndication.
The Inbound Syndication dashboard offers seven views, which appear in the following tabs.
This tab shows the overall impact that syndication has on your site’s review volume and product coverage. It shows the number of reviews before and after syndication, the number of products with reviews (both native and syndicated), product categories and brands receiving syndicated content, and the sources of syndicated content. Basically, this tab summarizes the value you get from participating in the Bazaarvoice network.
Use reports in this tab to understand how syndication changes the number of reviews and number of products with reviews displayed on your site, at an overall level and by category.
This tab highlights your review coverage by category and subcategory. It shows the percentage of products that have at least one review and the breakdown between native and syndicated reviews. It also shows the average number of reviews for each brand product within a subcategory.
Use reports in this tab to identify categories in your product catalog that would benefit from more syndicated review content.
This tab shows the impact of syndication on brands that receive syndicated reviews. It shows the impact on review volume, product coverage, and the overall rating of each brand.
Use reports in this tab to see which brands receive the most benefit from syndication and to understand the impact syndication would have on additional brands.
This tab shows the impact of syndication on products that receive syndicated reviews. It shows the impact on review volume and product rating, and detailed information about changes in review volume and rating for each product.
Use reports in this tab to determine how syndication is shifting review volume and ratings across all products receiving syndication. You can also use this tab to see how syndication impacts specific products on your site.
This tab provides statistics about the reviews on your site for each review source. It shows which Bazaarvoice clients (“sources”) syndicate reviews to you, the number of brands and products that receive syndicated content, and the average syndicated rating for reviews from that source.
Use reports in this tab to see which Bazaarvoice clients are syndicating content to you.
This tab provides statistics about review syndication by display locale. It shows the 30-day change in review count, review coverage, and number of products with reviews. It also shows the number of reviews per product, number of sources, number of brands with reviews, and average rating for each locale. You can also see how many new review are syndicated to each locale each month.
Use reports in this tab to understand the impact syndication has on each of your display locales.
The other Inbound Syndication report tabs display data for the previous 30 days. This tab enables you to see key syndication statistics for longer or shorter time periods. Use the Date Range filter to see data about the last x number of days or set a specific date range.
