Your Bazaarvoice account grants you access to the Curations 3 console. Depending on your account type and settings, you can create and manage accounts for other users, in addition to managing your own account.

Curations 3 offers two roles for user accounts—Account administrator and User (non-admin). The role associated with your account determines your level of access and what you can do in the Curations 3 console.

What's your account type?

Primary actions: Manage users, solutions, and consumer-generated content (CGC) programs

In addition to having CGC access, Account administrators can:

Add new users

To add a Bazaarvoice user:

  1. Open the menu and select Users to access the Account manager.
  2. Click the Create new user button.
  3. Fill out the user's profile by entering the first and last name, email address, and country.
  4. Define the user's permissions and access for the following:
    • Solutions—Bazaarvoice solutions or applications, like Curations and Advertising.
    • Sites—The websites or brands using Bazaarvoice solutions. If your company has multiple brands using Bazaarvoice solutions, they will appear here.
    • Environment—The environment the user can interact with and impact.
    • Roles—Predefined account types that determine the access level or permissions available to the user.
  5. Click save.

Edit users

To edit a user's account:

  1. Open the menu and select Users to access the Account manager.
  2. Find the user you want to modify. You can scroll through the list of users or search for the user by name, email, or any other filter available in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the name of the user to open the editor.
  4. You can change the following settings for the account:
    • Solutions—Bazaarvoice solutions or applications, like Curations and Advertising.
    • Sites—The websites or brands using Bazaarvoice solutions. If your company has multiple brands using Bazaarvoice solutions, they will appear here.
    • Environment—The environment the user can interact with and impact.
    • Roles—Predefined account types that determine the access level or permissions available to the user.
  5. Click save.

Remove users

You can remove users' access by disabling their account or deleting it entirely.

To disable a user:

  1. Open the menu and select Users to access the Account manager.
  2. Find the user you want to disable. You can scroll through the list of users or search for the user by name, email, or any other filter available in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the name of the user to open the editor.
  4. Click Disable.

To delete a user:

  1. From the Account manager page, find the user you want to delete. You can scroll through the list of users or search for the user by name, email, or any other filter available in the left sidebar.
  2. Click the name of the user to open the editor.
  3. Click Delete.

Caution: This action cannot be undone.

Note: You can only delete disabled users. If you've opened an account that's active, you must disable it before you can delete it.

Reset or change passwords

Reset your password

If you forgot your password and can't log in to your Bazaarvoice account, do the following to reset your password:

Note: If your account is linked to your company's federated account system, you must contact your administrator or IT department to reset your password.

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Click the Forgot password? link beneath the Sign in button.
  3. Enter the email associated with the account and click Send password reset request. Soon you will receive a password reset email from Bazaarvoice.
  4. In the email, Bazaarvoice password reset, click the link to reset your password.
  5. On the Reset password page that opened, enter a new password that meets the requirements listed on the page.
  6. Click Save password.

You can now log in to your account with your new password.

Reset another user's password

If you have admin permissions, you can trigger a password reset for another user. Do the following:

  1. Open the menu and select Users to access the Account manager.
  2. From the Account manager page, find the user whose password you need to reset. You can scroll through the list of users or search for the user by name, email, or any other filter available in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the name of the user to open the editor.
  4. Click Reset Password.

This sends the user an email with instructions to reset his or her password.

Primary actions: View and manage solutions and consumer-generated content (CGC) programs

Users with non-admin accounts have access to all non-PII CGC and settings for assigned solutions, sites, and environments.

Portal users can:

  • View CGC
  • Moderate CGC
  • View, create, and share reports
  • Edit solution settings, like content collection and display settings

As a non-admin user, the only administrative task you need to worry about is resetting your password when forgotten.

Reset or change your password

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Click the Forgot password? link beneath the Sign in button.
  3. Enter the email associated with the account and click Send password reset request. Soon you will receive a password reset email from Bazaarvoice.

  5. On the Reset password page that opened, enter a new password that meets the requirements listed on the page.
  6. Click Save password.

You can now log in to your account with your new password.
