Consumers submit reviews differently depending on the types of review collection campaigns they participate in. The submission process for email campaigns also differs depending on whether you provide information about consumer purchases in the email campaign form you send us.

Email campaigns with purchase information

If you provide information about consumer purchases in the email campaign form, consumers can submit reviews about the products they purchased directly from their email invitations.

This example shows an in-mail review submission form:

Email campaigns without purchase information

If you do not provide information about consumer purchases in the email campaign form, consumers receive email invitations with general requests for reviews. When a consumer clicks the Write a review button, a Product Picker that lists your products opens.

This example shows a Product Picker designed for music-related products in a children’s playground.

When a consumer selects a product, the product’s review submission form opens. Consumers use the form to provide a product rating, review, and additional information, such as a nickname and location.

This example shows a basic review submission form:

Note: General requests for reviews usually result in fewer reviews than email messages that mention specific products. Provide consumer purchase data when possible.

If you collect reviews using a review submission link, consumers who click the link will see a Product Picker. When consumers select a product, the product’s review submission form opens.
