Deactivate or reactivate a member
When a member is deactivated, they are removed from active status and cannot receive future sampling invitations. You can deactivate pending, active, and invited members, or they can deactivate themselves. When a member is deactivated, their profile and campaign data is not deleted. If a member wants their data to be completely erased, you’ll need to update their profile to remove all personal information.
Note: You cannot delete a member.
The Member deactivation email template is used to send a message to the member after deactivation. Ensure that you configure the email template before deactivating a member.
Deactivating a member
- Click Members at the top of the portal and then click View Members.
- Select member(s) by clicking the check boxes on the right side of each member’s row.
- Click Deactivate Member.
- When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deactivation.
Reactivating a member
You can reactivate any deactivated member. Note that no email message is sent to the member when they are reactivated.
- Click Members at the top of the portal and then click View Members.
- Select deactivated member(s) by clicking the check boxes on the right side of each member’s row.
- Click Reactivate Member.
- When prompted, click Yes to confirm the reactivation.
