Admins control most aspects of your sampling program and portal. They can perform these tasks:

  • Invite, manage, and contact members and vendors
  • Add and manage product samples
  • Create and launch campaigns
  • View and download reports and fulfillment data
  • Modify and customize email messages sent to customers
Note: Admins can access personally identifiable information (PII). You should consider carefully when choosing to grant admin privileges, and remove these privileges for users who change roles or leave the company.

Viewing admins

Click Admins at the top of the portal.

By default, the page lists all active admins.

  • Narrow the view by filtering admins: select an option from the Filter Admins drop-down list
  • Search for a specific admin by typing their ID in the Search field (clear the field to list all admins again)
  • Sort admins by selecting a column heading

Here is a description of each column on the page:

  • Name – The admin’s full name
  • Created – Date and time when the admin was added to the portal
  • Last Visit – Date and time when the admin last logged in to the portal
  • SuperAdmin – Whether the admin has SuperAdmin privileges

Adding an admin user

  1. Click Admins at the top of the portal.
  2. Click + Add Admin.
  3. On the Creating New Admin page, specify the following:
    • Level – Whether the admin will have Admin or SuperAdmin privileges; SuperAdmins can create other users
    • First Name – First (given) name of the user
    • Last Name – Last name (surname) of the user
    • Email – Email address of the user
    • Password and Confirm Password – Password of the user, which much contain 8-25 case-sensitive characters, and it must include at least one special character
  4. Click Save.

Deleting an admin user

  1. Click Admins at the top of the portal.
  2. Select an admin in the table by selecting the check box on the right side of the page.
  3. Click Delete Admin.
  4. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Exporting admin data

  1. Click Admins at the top of the portal.
  2. Click Export to CSV. A CSV file is downloaded to the local system.

The following columns are provided in the file:

  • Local ID - An internal ID assigned to the admin when they were added to the portal
  • Name – The admin’s full name
  • Created – Date and time when the admin was added to the portal
  • Last Visit – Date and time when the admin last logged in to the portal
  • Super Admin – Whether the admin has SuperAdmin privileges

Updating or deactivating your account

You can change the following account information:

  • your status
  • contact and personal information
  • interests
  • password

You can also deactivate your account. If you deactivate your account, you can no longer manage the sampling program and will no longer receive email messages.

To update your account

  1. Click Dashboard at the top of the portal.
  2. Click Your Account » Update Your Profile.
  3. Change any of the information on the page.
  4. Click Save.

To reset your password

  1. Click Dashboard at the top of the portal.
  2. Click Your Account » Reset Your Password.
  3. Type the new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields. The new password must contain 8-25 characters, and it must include at least one special character. Passwords are case sensitive.
  4. Click Update.

To deactivate your account

  1. Click Dashboard at the top of the portal.
  2. Click Your Account » Deactivate your account.
  3. Select the Opt out from future invitations option.
  4. Click Deactivate Account.
